Seriously good stuff to do, near our London restaurants
Happy holidays!
The festivities have well and truly started and holidays are just around the corner. For your early Christmas gift we’ve compiled our must-visit-places to pop down to before or after your pancake fix.
If you’re looking to visit our London Bridge restaurant:
Take a detour to the Tate Modern to marvel at an exhibition. Amongst an array of free galleries, we would recommend visiting ‘the 80’s: photographing Britain’ which looks at the remarkable transformation of photography through the lens of one of the most iconic decades fueled by political unrest, protest and change.
Looking for something a little more festive? Winter by the River has it all. One of London’s most scenic Christmas markets offers visitors the chance to wander down the river with a piping hot glass of mulled wine whilst exploring cute winter cabins by the riverside, filled to the brim with arts & crafts, and some unmissable street-roasted chestnuts.
Venture further into the city to explore the tastes and sights of Borough Market. For all dairy-lovers, check out their evening of cheese, including a cheese-themed shopping extravaganza led by their community of cheesemongers, which hits the market on Wednesday (you’re welcome).
If you’re looking to our visit Charlotte Street restaurant:
Our restaurant is next door to Tottenham Court Road and Oxford street (with its shopping galore), but the area is so much more than window-shopping on the high street.
The British Museum is nearby at walking distance, which currently boasts a Picasso print collection, on top of the chance to explore world cultures from the Mediterranean to the Middle East. All collections are brimming with energy and curiosity making this the perfect day out for Londoners and non-Londoners alike. For parents, keep an eye out for the next sleepover with Dino Snores.
If you are visiting town, there’s also a few walking tours. If you want the professionals to take you round the block check out:
