One of the best breakfasts we’ve had this trip to London. Fab pancakes, not sweet. The Australian was a winner!

Can never decide between the Australian or the Royal with smoked salmon. Love them both in equal measure. And the coffee is incomparable.

I visited Where The Pancakes Are; the vanilla matcha latte hit the spot, so no complaints from the caffeine department. I had the English breakfast with the 3-in-1 pancake). It was filling, and didn’t taste like punishment. Would return, mainly to feel smug about eating pancakes with zero gluten guilt.

Ah, my happy place. How can you fault a place that mainly serves pancakes! And excellent pancakes they are too. If only we had one closer to where we live, although that would not be great for my waistline 😂. Even though it was very busy, the service was great. The staff are friendly and polite, and the food arrives in good time. Can't fault it.

I had the simple maple and butter pancakes with mocha and my husband had the Canadian banana pancakes with OJ juice in large. The food was tasty. As a personal preference, I'm not sure I'm a fan of buttermilk pancakes🤭 but my husband really loved it. The OJ juice was fresh and cold, 100% recommend this. The man who attended to us was very lovely and there was indoor and outdoor sitting. We paid £39.09 with a service charge of 12.5% included.

J'y suis allée avec mes enfants. Le cadre est agréable mais cela peut vite être bruyant à l'intérieur. Il y a plusieurs espaces dont une mezzanine avec des prises électriques et un extérieur très agréable.

What a fabulous place! We love pancakes and having searched for somewhere that does basically nothing but - and really well - we were so pleased to find this place. Pancakes were amazing, staff friendly and quick to help, and the drink selection was great!

Usually quite good, especially on weekdays when it is quieter can walk in and get a nice outdoor table. My recent experience (with reservation) was not the best.

We were sat right by the kitchen, and the door kept swinging. One staff made an effort to stop the door anytime it swung which i appreciate. However, table was also squeezed next to some baby chairs.

If you struggle to fit a table there, then it is not a good idea to seat people there. Waitress also dropped maple syrup close to our bags, which I partly assume is also due to her squeezing through to serve our food, with the swinging door behind her.

Also, only one unisex bathroom, which caused a queue to form in the middle of the restaurant.!

The food was good however the waiter Lowkey was amazing would definitely come back for the service

My husband and I came all the way from Sheffield to meet my friend from abroad. We had Royals and an all day breakfast as our early dinner. The pancakes were amazing, even the veggies too! We had Loki as our server and he was superb! He was fun and cheerful, washed our tiredness away and we even had a photo together! What a perfect wrap up for the day!

We all had the simple pancakes and chose our own toppings. This place has been on my list for a while, but the pancakes were not as great as they look.
However, the staff were amazing and attentive as soon as we stepped foot in the restaurant. Loki was our server, and generally provided an all round 5* service. He was so lovely, my son (4) went to give him a hug before we left. There was another server who left before we finished (didn’t get her name), but she was fab too, she gave us a Rubix cube and UNO to play with and keep our boy occupied.

I honestly had the worst start to my day in Battersea Power station but this meal turned it around.
I was served by Loki who was kind, and made decent recommendations as the CPC was out of stock for the day. I would have usually felt a little annoyed being notified what I wanted off the menu was unavailable, but I felt like the service warmed me through my experience.
He made me and my daughter feel welcome, the meal was decent following a terrible lunch at Tozi. A lot of places feel indirectly unwelcoming to guests with children, so I liked that it felt family friendly.

Would recommend for a shopping all day post meal!

We were attended by a charming waiter - Loki - who went the extra mile to make our visit comfortable. We had a wheelchair user in our party and very much appreciated the extra consideration. Loki was witty, curteous and attentive during our visit. The pancakes are pretty average but the service really made the visit 👌🏽

Had the pleasure of being seated and served by Loki. Tricky managing eating out with a toddler and a newborn but he made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. Actually made the whole experience more relaxing and we really enjoyed our time.

My fav place for pancakes in the city. I preferred Fitztrovia location and really disappointed that they closed it.

Good variety/quality of dishes and drinks, relaxed vibe and good customer service from Loki. Will definitely come again!

Only disappointment was that my dish was supposed to come with hot honey but they only had normal honey, but I can forgive it because it was tasty regardless

I have been here twice. On both occasions I had excellent food and service. Pancakes are delicious and had variety of toppings both sweet and savoury. Overnight oats were also delicious. They have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Highly recommended.

Great place to meet for a snack and chat. We went for brunch, pancakes of course...

It's very popular and therefore v busy. Book if you can, else there's a sitting queue outside. We didn't book and waited 5 mins.

We sat outside with the heater on above our heads and soft blankets. Seating outside is split, a row next to front window and a shorter row which was more in the sun. Indoors is over 2 floors and fine on colder days.

Food is good and I tried the Dutch pancake and we had a portion of simple pancakes.

I had the Canadian pancakes (cool idea renaming it). The food was very good but I think it could if done with some extra rashers of bacon.

The place was really amazing. Great pancakes and wonderful service. Ash was really helpful to us. There was a small discrepancy in one of menu amount and bill amount he was very kind to understand and making sure it was resolved.

Excellent pancakes and excellent service. The pulled beef pastrami pancakes were lovely and the portion size was perfect. The kids pancakes and hot chocolate were just the right size too. Great place to stop for lunch.

Food is fantastic and service is really brilliant - great staff who can’t do enough for you, which is always welcome when you are a family with young kids.

What a delicious breakfast, the pancake on its own is amazing the egg is cooked perfectly and the Canadian syrup is outstanding, the customer service here is great they welcome and always around to serve you, thanks for the amazing experience

We had a great time at Where the Pancakes are in Fitzrovia. We got a good table and were served quickly, despite the restaurant being very busy! Our server Diana was brilliant. She gave us some good tips, was very attentive to my 2 children and what they wanted to drink and eat and went the extra mile to make my wife, who's birthday it was feel very special. She made a request with the chef to let me try some alternative pancakes as part of my order too. The pancakes were very well made. The flavour, warmth and texture was spot on. The bacon was quite tough and some bits were very chewy, I would have preferred them to be crispy. We also had the Cornflake chicken with Hollandaise sauce, that was REALLY good. I wish we had an extra pancake with that one. One little niggle I had was that I ordered a breakfast tea which arrives in a nice pot with a very nice black cup, but because the cup is black, it is difficult to see the strength of the tea brew, which is how I usually check if it has brewed enough before pouring a whole cup. We were also gifted some pancake mix at the end to say happy birthday! Overall, a really good experience and look forward to visiting again.

My experience has been amazing! We didn’t have to wait long! We went on a Sunday afternoon! Busy but not too busy! We’ve been served quite quickly! Perfect for a Sunday brunch! Good for tourists and locals x

The pancakes, the juice, the latte … everything is really good. We had booked and had immediately our table, so it went smoothly.

Decent American style pancakes. The pulled beef pastrami was interesting as it had melted cheese on top of the pancakes.

Really tasty and unique pancakes, definitely recommend for breakfast or brunch. Nice relaxed atmosphere with helpful, attentive staff. Service was quick when we were there and we hadn't booked despite it being busy.

Coming from an American who LOVES pancakes, these are genuinely outstanding. And they have proper crispy streaky bacon, real maple syrup.. Nicole, the manager at Fitzrovia is also a gem!

Great concept and great food, but the service was quite slow and you had to grab their waiters attention.

Really enjoyed the food. Service was fantastic and really attentive to your needs! Our waitress was fantastic, she asked if my eggs were ok and if they needed to be cooked on the other side…🤩

Will definitely be back again for the 3 in 1 pancakes, hopefully they can be modified due to not being able to eat certain ingredients.

Such a beautiful building! I've been to the London Bridge location too. Pancakes are delicious, absolutely recommend.

We chose to go back to this place for my birthday brunch. It was a no brainier as the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, food is delicious and the service is excellent. When it comes to the dietary requirements nothing was too much. Eddy and the chef made sure they meet those requirements so we can enjoy worry free our meal.

The pancake was nice - fluffy and filling (I had a simple pancake with maple syrup) - and the staff was friendly (especially Eddy, who was very helpful and attentive). I really liked the coffee too.

I love pancakes and when i've been in London I found this amazing restaurant where I could chat in Italian with Eddy that helped me to find the best one for me. Just amazing! Thank you Eddy and see soon again!

Come here every year around pancake day and bring my team - they handled a booking of 20 really well, all the food came out at the same time which is impressive for so many people

The pancakes are thick and fluffy, if I was being picky I'd say the bacon could be crispier and id like the blueberries cooked in my pancake.

The flat white is more like a mini latte, but that's not unusual in London

Love their pancakes, kimchi one on the saltier side but I love salt so no issue for me. Love all the others!

Delicious pancakes, perfect for breakfast. Not too sweet- you finish the meal full and satisfied, but not feeling sick. I love that there are vegan options. I ordered the vegan Hummingbird pancake. The coconut cream was lovely and the lime sauce was unique. The pomegranate and coconut chips were a nice touch. The texture of the pancake was lovely and light, not heavy at all. The iced vanilla matcha oat latte was lovely too. Very fast service with friendly waiters. Eddie and Nia were great.

I was advised not to eat here if I have celiac b/c the chance of cross contamination was high. We had come for the GF pancakes, but I instead ended up eating a granola bar from my bag while my non-celiac wife ate some. She said her food was good though.
