brunch with friends who have a toddler-- staff were friendly, food was excellent! Toddler had little pancakes with blueberries and was provided with a high chair and there was a place to store the pram by the front door. Adults had variations of the savoury pancakes -- all great! Nice, customisable ordering system and the hollandaise was Amazing. great drinks selection as well -- juices, coffees, etc. Really enjoyable

This place is also near borough market.If you want a cute view of athe Shard, you can dine here.Made a reservation, was sat a couple of minutes as the previous group was just leaving the table were going to occupy.I had the kimchi and stilton dutch pancakes. It is not for the faint of heart or the less adventurous tastebuds. 😅 such strong flavors that I didnt think would go well. I finished it all and got it for free. The pancakes had very good texture.Carafes of water was really appreciated.Loo is available. Wifi available.They accept card payments and you can scan QR code to pay.

I ate here with a group and those who ate enjoyed their meals. However, I have a peanut allergy and was informed by the manager that they wouldn't serve me unless I was "okay with cross-contamination". This is disappointing. Allergies are poorly catered for here. I had a coffee and ate elsewhere.

I was shopping in Battersea Power Station on Pancake Day, and really fancied a pancake. I discovered this restaurant was in the shopping centre and decided to treat myself.I was seated quickly and left to peruse the menu for a few minutes. I ordered the Miso Pear Caramel Pancake, along with a Turmeric Ginger Oat Latte. Both items arrived pretty quickly. The pancakes were gorgeous, but I did find the cream a bit too much. It’s very rich and I felt it overwhelmed the delicate flavour of the pears and caramel sauce - but that is just my personal opinion. I was also a little disappointed with the latte, as it was tepid and not the “hug in a mug” that I’d hoped for.Overall I was happy with the food and service - my negative comments are based purely on my personal preferences. I would definitely like to return and try other items from the menu.

Me and my mum popped in after a visa appointment down the road and we definitely didn’t regret it! The only negative is that there was so much to choose from we couldn’t decide. I went for the royal with avocado plus halloumi and my mum had the simple with a few extras. The pancakes were super fluffy and huge! All the additionals were delicious and my vanilla matcha latte was dreamy. Sihab looked after us during our visit, he was super friendly and helpful, offering suggestions when we were feeling overwhelmed with the amount of choice and offered more sauces for our meals. Thankyou Sihab for being so attentive and thankyou where the pancakes are for a lovely hump day brunch!

We chose to go back to this place for my birthday brunch. It was a no brainier as the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, food is delicious and the service is excellent. When it comes to the dietary requirements nothing was too much. Eddy and the chef made sure they meet those requirements so we can enjoy worry free our meal.Thank you guys it’s all well appreciated ☺️

Came here for a coffee with a friend on a Saturday while strolling around the area and was really impressed with how warmly welcomed we were by staff. Everyone working there was super friendly and approachable, and it’s in a great spot “tucked away” behind Southwark Bridge. Delicious coffee. Still need to return to try the pancakes though!

I really liked the food: pancakes were really tasty and there were lots of vegetarian options. The place is quite packed, so I recommend booking earlier. We had a place on the outside, but they have heating lamps and provide blankets which was very nice. The service was great. Overall I am really pleased.

The pancake was nice - fluffy and filling (I had a simple pancake with maple syrup) - and the staff was friendly (especially Eddy, who was very helpful and attentive). I really liked the coffee too.

Come here every year around pancake day and bring my team - they handled a booking of 20 really well, all the food came out at the same time which is impressive for so many peopleThe pancakes are thick and fluffy, if I was being picky I'd say the bacon could be crispier and id like the blueberries cooked in my pancake.The flat white is more like a mini latte, but that's not unusual in London

Hidden away behind Southwark bridge, with a very large seating area downstairs, there are a few more table upstairs as well. We were welcomed very warmly and seated right away although there were already many people.Their menu has a very wide selection of brunches, with vegan options as well, even for the pancakes! Would also recommend their juices. Overall a lovely place and great experience. Thank you for having us!

Very busy so bookings are definitely reccomended. Food was delicious and portions sizes were good. Staff friendly but very busy, forgot my drink but bought straight over when reminded.

Good Food excellent hospitality
Delicious pancakes, perfect for breakfast. Not too sweet- you finish the meal full and satisfied, but not feeling sick. I love that there are vegan options. I ordered the vegan Hummingbird pancake. The coconut cream was lovely and the lime sauce was unique. The pomegranate and coconut chips were a nice touch. The texture of the pancake was lovely and light, not heavy at all. The iced vanilla matcha oat latte was lovely too. Very fast service with friendly waiters. Eddie and Nia were great.

Waren relativ spontan ohne Reservierung dort. Wir wurden super freundlich empfangen und haben einen Platz im Innenbereich bekommen. Wir haben einmal die amerikanischen Pancakes mit Bacon und Heielbeeren und Ahornsirup genommen. Zudem noch eine englische Version mit Bacon, Bohnen(die waren grandios) und Wurst und zwei Pancakes. Als Getränk gab es einen Flatwhite und einen Tee. Man kann direkt am Tisch bezahlen was es auch zusätzlich einfach macht. Wir waren wirklich sehr positiv überrascht und sind glücklich dort gewesen zu sein.

Pretty good. Service was good. Pancakes were nice. Drinks were very nice. The Spanish Latte looked like it actually has condensed milk in it, unlike the one from Costa. The banana pancake was not saucy enough, I asked for more, which was given with no hassle. Overall pretty good, well worth a visit if you like pancakes.I didn't feel overly full after eating, no belly ache of any kind, which I do get sometimes if I eat pancakes!

The food was very good, pancakes were soft and fluffy, I recommend the pastrami pancakes, they give extra syrup on request with zero charge. However, I wasn’t the most fond of the avocado, but our server was very kind to take it off the bill when he noticed we hadn’t eaten much of it. Mao was very friendly and catering towards my table, 10/10 service. The music was very lively and also 10/10, the place was very homey and cute, would definitely recommend ☺️

Great food. This is a great little spot. We had the full English breakfast. The eggs were amazing. The pancakes were great also. Highly recommend this place. Plus, it is close to the Borough Market.

I was advised not to eat here if I have celiac b/c the chance of cross contamination was high. We had come for the GF pancakes, but I instead ended up eating a granola bar from my bag while my non-celiac wife ate some. She said her food was good though.

For lovers of Dutch style layered pancakesWe prefer crepes (the Old Dutch), but this all okay
Came here for breakfast today . I was really impressed with the service from the young waiter . She made the visit personal which is the most important thing in hospitality ( having worked in hospitality before) . I just got the simple pancake with bananas and white chocolate . Was amazing . Shame there wasn’t a few more pancakes but oh well! Defo recommend . Battersea power station could do with better signage for the shops / restaurants which are out of the way .
Possibly the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Sweet and refreshing (Hummingbird pancakes) and the spanish latte was lovely. Staff were all really polite and friendly too

Nice food and staff. We were served by Irene who recommended us the best pancakes ever! Banana Marshmallow with Caramel and American, amazing combination for the meal. My recommendation is to share savoury and sweet to try both, trust me, chicos.

Really lovely place, I do recommend to book in advance but otherwise they can offer you tables outside with heaters and blankets, so you will be alright. Anyway, we waited around 20 minutes for the table, which is solid for a lunch time. I ordered pear caramel which is a winter special as told by a host and pulled beef as it sounded and tasted nice. The coffees were banging and especially the matcha!!! Jeez, really nice lunch we had today before continuing to explore London.

Visited here for Birthday lunch with Husband, Daughter and Son in Law.Pancakes were amazing. Eggs were poached to perfection and were the freshest ever eaten in a restaurant. What made it extra special, was that family members with dietary requests were also catered for.Highly recommended, will definitely visit again . Maybe next time it will be for sweet pancakes.

Had a hummingbird outside! The seats have blankets and are cosy! Staff were lovely and so nice! Situé à l’abri de l’agitation, nous avons opté pour petit déjeuner à l’extérieur : plaids et lampes chauffantes rendent possible cela même en février. Cappuccino et latte nous ont plus. Monsieur a pris un English brekkie, heureux s avoir des produits de qualité, notamment les slow cooked beans 🫘 qui font vraiment la différence, avec les superbes buttermilk pancakes moelleux à souhait. J’avais opté pour un Australian brekkie parce que je suis obsédée par l’avocat 😬 le « pancake » est en polenta avec des grains de maïs, avocat frais, la crème fraîche est d’avoine (et parfaite), salade de roquette avec une SUPERBE huile au citron confit. Je me suis régalée. Servis par Goran qui a su allier amabilité et efficacité. Bref une adresse qui vaut le détour .

Lovely time with family ❤️Food was delicious and we all got the Full English Breakfast , I added some halloumi to mine, the pancakes, sausage and seasoned beans were my favourites, the first portion of bacon was burnt but our server was able to get us a new portion of smoked bacon which was delicious 😋 I had the pumpkin latte but was a bit disappointed as I could taste more coffee then pumpkin, My hubby got the Chai latte which was yummy. The server was very polite, accommodating and attentive, sorry I didn’t get his name. Restaurant was nice,clean and not too busy, location is great and most of all the play list was on point as they were playing my favourite artist Cleo Sol so we were vibing while eating😂❤️ We will be back!

This was my second visit at one of the Where the Pancakes Are and I had again another great experience.The food and the coffee were delicious and the service in point.I had my dog with me and the star made sure he was well taken care of too 🫶

Always love a cheeky pancake lunch.The food is always delicious with super fresh ingredients, the coffee is great, the staff are lovely and it's got a really lovely atmosphere.

So good!After seeing quite a few negative reviews, which made me think twice about coming, I thought I'd add a review to hopefully help anyone potentially feeling the same way.Literally nothing to fault, they were in fact some of the best pancakes me and my daughter have ever had.No funny taste as some have mentioned, unless you dislike the taste of freshly made hot delicious pancakes!The bacon was perfectly cooked to compliment them with very tasty syrup as well.Very pleasant surprise to hear Nick Drake playing through the speakers when we were there too, any fellow fans might realise how rare this is to hear, the whole soundtrack was very well selected.Don't question coming, try for yourself, I'm sure you'll leave very happy and full!

We came here twice and loved the pancakes and the coffee. My husband had the American twice and I have the Australian (pictures) and the vegan one first. So tasty!! The staff was friendly and engaging

A lovely place tucked away a short trip away from London Bridge station. We went for brunch, I had the full English and my friend had the pulled pork.The food was very tasty, my slight criticism on the full English would be the choice of bacon which was crispy rashers more suitable for the American pancakes.Big positives was proper maple syrup and the egg was magnificent.Definitely worth while stopping by if you are after a place to eat.

Staff were really friendly and provided great hospitality. However, I don't have a sweet tooth, and so the pancakes were not for me. Definitely if you like pancakes or sweet foods then you should try this place.

The food was okay. It's a bit lacking in temperature and taste, and a bit mean with the amount of maple syrup. They did cater for gluten free pancakes, which is great.

My friend and I came here for breakfast at 8am yesterday. I had the American and she had a pancake from the breakfast menu with hollandaise and salmon. All I can say is, I'm an American and these are the best damn pancakes I've had in this country. They knocked my socks off and it gave me happy pancake afterglow for the rest of the day. Our waitress was super helpful and attentive, the food came in good time and the coffee was delicious too. We've decided we'll be back in Jan to sample the cocktails! (And have more pancakes, obvs).
